Repeated phone calls from this number. We do not answer the land line and got the number through 1471.

This number keeps calling.; even after 10 pm! Can’t be legit

+14029357733 Fake paypal. Recorded/auto message asking to enter a code, presumably to try to get into your account. Number rings several times. Hang up without answering just calls back, answer and hang up half way through message it calls back. Checked my paypal and no dodgy charges, security checks etc not tampered with so all OK, deleted and unlinked my card in my account just in case and will add my card next time I need paypal.

I noticed this missed call, from this number on my phone listing, from 17/11/20, saying it’s from Omaha, NE, USA and have no inkling as to who it’s from or why, but according to my phone they rang my number for a minute, so they think it was important.

Its to do with paypal. Nothing dodgy at all

Called me 5 times after receiving a Paypal message saying: "Your security code is .... it expires in 10 minutes. don't share this code with anyone." I didn't pick it up looks like a scam.

Phoned immediately after paypal wanted authenticity, asking for code?

Just got a call from this unknown number

Constant Calling but hangs up after three rings then calls again and again and again...WHO? Why?

Who are these people? About to pay by paypal and told I needed verification. I was told to enter a code they gave me by phone. I received a phone call but nobody was there. Have now blocked them.

When buying some airgun pellets off Ebay i got a pop up box from paypal to verify it was me.. that cost me £2.50 via this number that i never rang....

Two unsolicited calls from this number at the same time as I got three texts telling me a security code that I had not instigated. Text messages forwarded to PayPal then deleted. Phone number blocked.

Picked the phone and replaced

Lucky for me I have no phone signal so I've just seen this number as a missed call. Judging by the other comments it looks like scammers.

Scam?PayPal Called me after midnight twice.

I called this number because It was in something that was transferred from my personal bank account. My online bank account shows that $44 had been taken out for PayPal*scubadive. 1. I don’t scuba dive and have no interest 2. My pay pal account is set up to deduct from our family bank account, NOT my personal account! 3. As well as the $88 going to PayPal ScubaDive, $44 was also taken out going to a business I have done business with, so they have my personal bank account. The manager of the local office said that she was going to get with the home office and get my money reimbursed. That was early March, middle March, she said she would call again. They took out $44 again yesterday, March 28! I left a message at the local office and it hasn’t been returned yet.

just noticed a couple of mysterious $1 charges on my bank statement from this number (after using Groupon for a few items) via my PayPal account. No calls or anything ... just these small charges ... am contacting PayPal to dispute and to ensure that they do NOT allow this number to charge ANY PayPal account. i believe it is a PayPal issue.

Received three calls from this number which I didn't answer as I'm in the UK and don't know anybody in Nebraska. Voicemail messages were left saying please enter your PayPal verification code that was sent to you by text. ON NO ACCOUNT ENTER THE CODE. This is a scam call as somebody tried to change my PayPal password and I was sent a legitimate verification code by PayPal if you enter the code you will give the scammers access to your account, they will change the password and you will be locked out, they will then have access to card details or bank accounts you have linked to PayPal.

PayPal will not make phone calls to you. That's an attempt to steal your information. Danger

Husband changing password on old PayPal account. They called to confirm to was valid. Nice.

This is the number for PayPal to ensure that you authorized a payment prior to them paying it. It is a legitimate number, and I'm glad they are watching my account enough to make the call and check before paying!

Automated call, said they were from Paypal Automated Service, and wanted me to enter my Paypal phone call verification number. NO CLUE!!! Hung up.

Got Email my password was changed in PayPal... called number and they wanted account info. Robbers.
