called and said that my SS # was compromised and that I had to call them back right away. RIGHT! scammers

Called saying my SS# was compromised and would be turned off today. I called the number back from a different phone saying i had received a call concerning my SS#. He had a slight Indian accent. He stated he wasn't showing a call from this number and then asked my name. I told him John Jacob jingleheimerschmitt. He asked me how do you spell it....lol. Obviously not an American
