This recording left me a message this morning. Saying it was a case open against me. Like a siri type voice. From new York. I guess she was saying I had to respond or I'd be arrested. Lmaooo.

Message left says they are calling to notify of tax filings. There are four serious allegations and if I do not call them back ASAP to avoid legal action, I will be taken under custody by the local police. LOL!!! The phone number these scammers call from and the number they want a callback to is 347-427-8551. They have been BLOCKED!

I received a call from this number stating they were from the IRS and that there would be a warrant out for my arrest if I did not call and settle a debt I DO NOT HAVE!!!

I am a British visitor to the US, and only two parties have the phone number of my US SIM card bought in the UK. One is my son and the other the hire car company. I am not liable for and have never paid taxes in the US. THIS IS CLEARLY A SCAM. I have of course blocked the number.

they were having a busy day today! Received the same recorded message as everyone and need to call immediately or will be arrested. Called the # back after work, couldn't understand the company name, asked them to repeat, then I heard the Internal Revenue Service, I asked why they were calling instead of sending a letter, she asked my name, I said sorry I can't hear you because of all the background noise you have, she said " you can just go to jail" and hung up on me. Had to laugh, it was such an obvious scam.
