cheap debt collector tactic. threaten you with legal action, give you a number to call to stop it, then claim ‘you have officially been notified.’ Until a certified letter, process server, or sheriff delivers to you personally a letter of intent to sue, you have not been officially notified. This is a debt collector using illegal means to intimidate you into making the mistake of calling them. Unless they really sue you, do not talk to them; the fact that they are using this tactic proves they have no way to legally go after you for money owed, and in some cases, they do this to people who don’t owe anything just to scam you into paying!

not the person they are looking for left a threatening your going to be arrested voicemail for that person so i called the rat bastards and told them 1. not the person you are looking for - response well they are using your number- my response i don't give a rats shit if they are they don't own this phone. 2. your voicemail that you left is actually illegal to the person you are looking for. Ma'am do you know this person- my response NO for the third f@@@@@@ time. 3. if you don't remove me and continue to leave these illegal messages on my phone for a person that does not own the phone then not only will I report you but i will also get my attorney to serve and sue the crap out of you. LETS be clear (said very loudly to them) REMOVE MY NUMBER, THAT PERSON IS NOT AT THIS NUMBER AND NEVER CONTACT ME AGAIN WHAT YOUR DOING IS ILLEGAL ILLEGAL STOP OR THERE WILL BE CONSEQUENCES.

I received a call from this number saying that they had received a summons under my name and SS number and I will be served. I have no idea what this about. And when I look up the number on white pages.com there is no information for this number
