I received a call from someone claiming to be checking on a $5,000+ order from Amazon that was being delivered to my address at 9:00 tonight. They tried to get my social# credit card numbers etc. They supposedly called the bank and transferred them to me. Basically the same conversation ensued. They asked how much money do you have available on your credit cards? I told her: If you work for the bank you have this information. I told her "I will fix this problem. I will take all of this information to my local police and they will deal with it. I asked What is your name? She said Alex but mumbled on the last name and hung up. My guess that this is a well orchestrated scam.
