Who called from the number +1 (310) 554-7482

Automated female voice claiming, "The nature and purpose of this call is to inform you that we have received a legal petition notice filed under your name so before this matter goes to the federal court house or before you get arrested, please call immediately at 310-554-4882" SCAM AND HARASSMENT

this number [phone id from Santa Monica , California ] called on September 7, 2018 and left a message saying that since i have not called them they would be filing a lawsuit with fraud charges/ i called back and an Indian [the continent] answered the phone, it was VERY VERY noisy in the background [like a call center] and he claimed to be from the Internal Revenue Service. I asked him who he was and where he was calling from... he hung up. i called back again and the phone just kept ringing. THIS IS SOME SORT OF HUGE SCAM. THEY ARE DEFINITELY NOT THE IRS. if i can gather any more information i will update my report.

Apparently I'm going to be arrested also.

Yes I got 2 calls and I am going to be arrested unless I call back in the next 24 hours. Pfft! Homie don't play that game.

I tried calling the number but I blocked my number first. I got a recording saying the call could not go through as dialed. Hmmm . . . me thinks I agree with all of you that it's a scam!!!

It appears that I'll be joining all of you in jail. Total scam. Blocked number.

This was a BS call. Don't fall for it.

This is the second time I've received a voicemail from this number claiming they are the IRS and I'm going to be arrested. First call was months ago and I've been arrested...hmmm...I smell scam. Anyway, the IRS will send you a letter if there is an issue with your taxes. I just got a letter from the IRS a few weeks ago because I made a mistake on my tax return and underpaid.
