Left a voicemail that was clearly an automated message. All I received from that message (that clearly started when the answering machine started with it's blurb) was "have your attorney contact me at 289-224-9830" etcetc.

I don't know who this caller really is, but I have deep suspicions about it. They did not use my name or any identifying information about me. I did not call back, but this caller left 2 messages threatening legal action if I don't return the call. The implication was that they are somehow from the CRA. I have all contact with the CRA online and there was no notification of anything wrong, so I am reasonably certain that this call is a scam.
