Received a call from (252)-505-0329 at my place of employment (medium sized corporate office). It was pre-recorded message that was difficult to understand. Message proceeded to state that I was notified 6 months ago and that our lack of communication was being considered as fraud and charges are being filed from the IRS and that me and my family are now being investigated. My previous experience regarding the IRS tells me they do not call you from a garbled pre-recorded robotic voice message. Typically you will receive an official letter from the IRS should they have need to discuss any matters with you.

Called claiming that i never responded to any messages so a lawsuit was being filed with the government. Very garbled message. Nothing but scammers.

Got a garbled voicemail from this number today saying.....I tried calling the number back & got a Verizon error message stating that the Verizon customer I was trying to reach was not available. "It is officially a final notice from the I R S This message is to inform you that I R S is filing the legal war under your name and your tax id for the tax fraud and the investigating team of our department is investigating you and your family we had tried to notify you regarding these issues in the previous 6 months but we had never got a response from you so it has been considered as an intentional fraud and a lawsuit has been filed under your name by the United States government you may call our department number 125-250-5032 extension 9 I repeated 252-505-0329 extension 4 more information before."

I too received this same automated, garbled message, that wasn’t even from the beginning about not responding to a lawsuit in the past 6 months and that it will be brought to the courts if I don’t call back to resolve the issue.
