This number called me and left a message threatening that I was being charged criminally by the CRA. I called them back and they very boldly tried to convince me that I needed to pay them money or the CRA would be going after me, lol. Scumbag scammers!!

CRA scam call. I get at least 2 a day lately. Different numbers all the time. CRA DOES NOT CALL ASKING FOR MONEY. CRA DOES NOT SEND THE POLICE. CRA DOES NOT TAKE PAYMENT WITH ITUNES CARDS. GET A REAL JOB you SCAMMERS.

I received a call from this number noting myself or my attorney would have to call back because CRA was issuing criminal charges against me. When I asked for his identification number he started yelling that I had a warrant out and was going to get arrested. Didn't sound like the professional institution that I normally work with and there were no notifications on my CRA account regarding this matter. I believe it is a scam. I didn't get as far as them asking money, but the minute I said I needed a call back number for my attorney they hung up.
