They called saying there was some kinda fraud with my taxes and to CRA back at that number. I looked up all the CRA contact numbers and none of them were that number.

Yeah, all CRA numbers start with 1-800, you can tell it's a scam when you call back and he/she instantly picks up, any government company has an automated answering system with options. Anyways, he called me and tried his scam, so I told him i'd call him back and called CRA and then called him back at the same time and put them both on speaker phone so they could hear eachother. Needless to say he didn't stay on the line very long
