Tried to pass themselves off as Canada Revenue Agency

Tried to pass for the CRA saying there's a legal complaint in my name for tax evasion

Called threatening that the CRA was filing a legal suit against me for Tax Evasion.

Says they are the CRA

Tried to mask as CRA

left a vm saying they are CRA & to call back immediately. scam.

I have the same CRA message. Scam. And CRA is in Winnipeg not Ontario.

Left message with no extension or name. Claiming to be CRA. “Call back immediately because this is a time sensitive matter”. I Have received nothing in the mail and am up to date on taxes. Sounds like a scam.

Left voice mail saying something about Canada Revenue Agency. Bla bla bla ...tax evasion bla bla bla Camila and I shall take this voice mail and number to the RCMP tomorrow.

CRA claiming I owe tax. I just laughed! Do not call back or pay anything at any time. RCMP should shut this place down!!!!

Called Alberta around 9 am local time. Didnt answer snd they didnt leave voicemail

CRA Scam, still at it, interesting that while living in Ontario I still have my a BC Cell phone number and the scammers got me there

CRA scam. Remember, the CRA doesn't call and threaten you... not the first time at least.

CRA related message. Left a message on my phone sounding very business-like and urgent. Absolute garbage.

CRA type scam call

A man whose name I was unable to dostinguish left a voicemail stating either my attorney or me needs to call CRA back asap to get this matter (he never said it was a tax matter, just implied it) resolved. Devinitely a scam!

Since the service provider is Iristel Inc. cant we just call that company and advise them they have issued a phone number to fraudsters and ask them to forward customer information to the RCMP???

It's a brown guy, trying to conceal his heavy Indian accent.
