This is the IRS. Going to arrest you for back taxes. Won't get supervisor and hangs up. When called back same voice answered then hung up.

Same as described above by others. Message was left on the answering machine, so the beginning was cut off, and I didn't hear that it was the "IRS;" however, we too were warned that the "cops would pick us up due to the four serious allegations against us."

Tax filing four counts against you. Cop are going to come and arrest you if you don't call. Cops? Slang.... for law.

It's a scam of some sort. They leave a message that the beginning is cut off and then threaten you with the local cops! In what profession do people call you to warn you about the police coming to get you? And what profession also calls the local police "the local cops"??? I thought that the IRS sent letters in the mail first before calling you?. These scammers are stupid to think that anyone will fall for this. And if anyone does, well I'm sorry that they didn't stop and think about what the scammers were saying because if they did they would have never fallen for it.
