Received a text message thru POF saying I had won a lottery thru POF, funds and 5 years of phone bills paid. It is a scam to get into your phone bill to order a new smartphone with a two year agreement. The phone they tried to get was a Samsung Galaxy Note9 128GB for $1,000 or leased for 41.66 a month for two years. They also tried to get my credit and debit card numbers saying that they needed to verify my information. I did not provide POF with any credit info as it is free so there would be no need for account numbers - all this was thru text messaging. Once I told them I would not be providing account numbers, there has been no other contact. I know what they were trying to get because i got an email from Verizon saying I had left something in my cart and was I ready to check out. I looked and it was still in my cart.
