I got a pop up from my email carrier saying they were going to give me more security by sending me a code. How did I want to receive the code. I said by phone and my phone rang and it was prompted by AT&T as a scam. I got code but did not put it in.
My wife got some kind of popup saying she needed to receive some kind of code to access her acct. Unfortunately she gave them our number and we received a phone call giving a numerical string. That's when I shut that stuff down. It's a scam.
Called us several times. Usually 2 rings and it stops. I did get a message once with a code. No clue what it was so I'm not going to use it.
203-902-2840 Verify; is the number Microsoft Rewards calls from to give you a code to authorize redeeming your MS Reward points to purchase Walmart, Target, Amazon, and many other gift cards.
Whoever posted this is a scumbag. I got a call asking for a code to get into my account, pretending to be from Microsoft.
The best way to avoid a scam is to not pick up when the phone number links to a company and or a international format, only accept calls you know and to make sure there legitimate calls about payment make sure these things your email address is the one you use for these types of calls if you only have one email for everything then make another one and link that to those number two please please make sure that they have a professinal website and it is secure by looking at the top left. And three don't do any risky or un easy feeling transactions if you do get scammed check this website and then go to your balance from the credit card or any payment method and check whats being paid for if it says nothing has been paid then your getting scammed and hang up if you see there is a legitament payment happened then proceed anyother situation besides that i have no knowledge because if they have already paid on your account you wouldnt be called
