Claimed to be James Cooper, agent #IRM25869 with the IRS. Threatened me with jail/seizure of property if I didn't pay $7,926.35 owed to the IRS. Connected me to "supervisor", John. Both used scare tactics, telling me to not interrupt & threatening to call law enforcement immediately. After a few moments, John asked to verify the balance in my bank account. It was then I knew this call was true fraud & hung up. I called the REAL IRS who confirmed that I do not owe.
