Claimed to be from Services Australia said 10 accounts opened in Qld in my name with fraud of $1.2m. Then got switched to this 03 96077777 number and supposedly Aust Fed Police. Both had Indian accents, both got the name of various government departments wrong. Told me all my funds would transfer to a secure coded account, my TFN would change. The AFP guy ended up saying I needed to go to JB HI-FI to buy vouchers. Pretty bizarre. I'd given them both fake details from the start, yet they said, yes, they can see my (fake) details in their system. Told AFP guy where he could go.
