Call from e'bay support, advising I had applied for a $250 gift voucher on a credit card & that another $250 would be taken out. Had I made this transaction, if not, which I had not, then I was being scammed by someone in China. They wanted me so sign up to an eBay app which would enable them to stop my information being used. When I got into the app, one of the first things that came up was a warning about the scam. The operator on the phone then tried to convince me to ignore the scam warning.
